One Marylebone Road, formally the Holy Trinity Church, was built in 1826–8 to the designs of Sir John Soane to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon. Soane was arguably England’s finest architect in the Neo-Classical style. One Marylebone provides a glamorous and unique central London venue for the most exclusive private and corporate events in a number of stunning spaces and a large garden. The building returned to its former glory in 2007 opening its doors as London’s most exciting new events venue.

One Marylebone Road’s identity uses a typographic approach using a bespoke version of Caslon that is carved, embossed and stamped into different materials from stone to fabric as the Church is a listed building and cannot utilise integrated branding or signage. Ornate font outlines are overlapped and cropped to create a typographic flourishes giving a combination in style that is both ‘Neo’ and ‘Classical’ at the same time.
